Bare Bones was started in 2012 by Sinead Hamilton and Emily Parker.  Sinead and Emily met twenty five years ago when they studied drama together at Barnet College.

Sinead then went on to study a BA ( Hons ) Degree in Contemporary Arts at Nottingham Trent University, and then a PGCE in Secondary Drama. She took on the role as Head of Drama and Dance at Stoke Newington Media Arts College, where she taught for 10 years.

Emily majored in Dance at Middlesex University where she obtained a BA ( Hons ) in Performing Arts. She then studied Acting and Voice at The Central School of Speech and Drama. She has worked with companies such as Cut to the Chase, the resident company at The Queens Theatre in Hornchurch, where she also worked as a choreographer. She has also worked as a voice over artist and session singer, and as an associate with the National Youth Theatre, and Chickenshed Theatre Company.

Both Sinead and Emily made departures from their teaching and acting careers to focus on their young families, but with their shared passion for working with young people and for the arts, it seems like fate that Bare Bones should bring them together.

All Bare Bones staff are fully CRB checked and hold Red Cross First Aid certificates.

Also working in the background is Owen Parker, creating bespoke and tailor made music for all age groups. Owen is a Grammy nominated songwriter, musician and producer, whose credits include Peter Gabriel, Girls Aloud, Pet Shop Boys, Robbie Williams and Simple Minds amongst others. Live artists include Billy Bragg, Robbie Williams, Take That and James Blunt.
